One of the biggest challenges for collaboration is bringing together in-office and remote workers. The technologies that most companies use to bridge this gap provide inconsistent meeting experiences because so many solutions are being used simultaneously to address the multitude of meeting requirements.

Chris Poore, product manager at Prysm, talks about how Prysm Mobile, a new capability in Prysm Visual Workplace, helps bring teams together across locations and devices to provide a consistent, persistent meeting experience. prysm-mobile-demo.png

It’s almost time for our first thought-leadership session, “Digital, Disparate and Disengaged,” which will be held in Prysm’s booth N305 at 10:30. Stop by and be the first to hear the findings of a new study, commissioned by Prysm and conducted by Forrester Consulting.

Description: In early 2016, Prysm commissioned Forrester Research to conduct an in-depth study about the state of the digital workplace.  Despite a lot of talk from senior leaders, the study found that most companies lack a compelling vision or solutions to remedy a workforce that is digital, disparate, and disengaged.  Join Prysm as we unveil the results of our study and discuss how the Prysm Visual Workplace can help your company foster a culture of innovation.

 9:30 am

Prysm’s goal is to build upon the history of the technology that Roger and the team created. We constantly seek out ways to make enterprise collaboration more productive and efficient. Today Prysm announced integration with Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Office 365, enabling users to search for, access, work within and download Office documents using Prysm's built-in web capabilities. Now, combined with the integration with Skype for Business (launched earlier this year) remote meeting participants can now fully engage in meetings  accessing and interacting with all of the content loaded into the workspace, including Microsoft Office documents stored on OneDrive.

But functionality is only part of the equation. Prysm Cloud is built on top of Microsoft Azure, an enterprise-grade cloud-computing platform that meets and exceeds a broad set of international and industry-specific security and compliance standards. This means that enterprises who employ Prysm can rest assured that their shared data is safe. Read the press release.

To learn more about Prysm’s integration, take a look at this video guide, which explores the features in greater detail.

It’s only the beginning of InfoComm 2016 and already Prysm is celebrating not just one, but TWO award wins to help kick off the show! Woo-hoo!

During last night’s keynote address, Prysm Co-Founder/CTO Dr. Roger Hajjar received the 2016 Adele De Berri Pioneers of AV Award—an annual recognition of individuals who have made significant contributions to the science of audiovisual experiences. Now, we are thrilled to announce that Prysm Visual Workplace has won the 2016 SCN InfoComm Installation Product Award for the Most Innovative Collaboration Product.

Prysm Visual Workplace is the future of collaboration, where social interaction and mobile access unite with online, visual workspaces. Winners were selected by SCN readers and we thank everyone for voting for our product.

We’ll be showing off the award-winning Prysm Visual Workplace throughout InfoComm 2016 in booth N305 so make sure you come by and experience all of the great product features first hand.

If you are at the show, we invite you to attend one of our three thought leadership sessions (no reservation required), held at Prysm’s booth N305:

Wednesday, June 8

10:30: Digital, Disparate and Disengaged

In early 2016, Prysm partnered with Forrester Consulting on an in-depth study about the digital workplace. Despite a lot of talk from senior leaders, the study found that most companies lack a compelling vision and solution for fostering an innovative culture to overcome a workforce that is digital, disparate, and disengaged. Join Prysm as we unveil the results of our study and how Prysm Visual Workplace can specifically help you foster a culture of innovation.

2:00:  From Collaboration to Innovation: Strategies for Moving your Company to a Visual Workplace

Changing the characteristics of your workplace to enable employees with visual tools to complete complex collaboration and innovation means developing a strategy, selecting the right solution, and executing against clear objectives. Panelists will share insights from their experiences in implementing Prysm solutions to help jumpstart your thinking on implementing Prysm Visual Workplace.

Thursday, June 9

11:00: Using the Employee Experience to Improve the Customer Experience: Proving the ROI

Customer experience is the biggest differentiator for companies today. However, the customer experience will only be as good as the internal experience of employees who must deliver it every day. Even though the modern workforce is more digital, disparate, and disengaged than ever before, it’s often difficult to get approval for employee experience projects. In this session, Prysm will explain how to build an ROI model that validates investment in the employee experience.
