Prysm's New Microsoft-Enabled Digital Workplace

Posted by David Schweer
The "holy grail" for the digital workplace is an interactive environment that provides all meeting participants with secure, seamless access to their presentations, documents, spreadsheets, videos, and standard productivity tools...from anywhere, at any time, from any device. At Prysm, we're working to make that vision a reality. Today, at InfoComm, Prysm announced integration with Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Office 365, enabling users to search for, access, work within and download Office documents using Prysm's built-in web capabilities. Now, combined with the integration with Skype for Business (launched earlier this year) remote meeting participants can now fully engage in meetings — accessing and interacting with all of the content loaded into the workspace, including Microsoft Office documents stored on OneDrive.  But functionality is only part of the equation. Prysm Cloud is built on top of Microsoft Azure, an enterprise-grade cloud-computing platform that meets and exceeds a broad set of international and industry-specific security and compliance standards. This means that enterprises who employ Prysm can rest assured that their shared data is safe. See the video. Prysm Visual Workplace™ is a world where applications, content, video conferencing, and the Web are combined into cloud-based digital workspaces where teams can create, edit and share thoughts, plans, and multimedia content. These interactive workplaces are stored in the cloud and accessible from any device so that everyone can contribute — both in the meeting room and on the road.  If you're at InfoComm, stop by booth #N305. We'd be happy to give you a demo.
