Tanvir Osama is a seasoned professional with over 18 years of experience in technology and business development. Having recently celebrated his 14th year with Prysm, we are delighted to showcase him in the inaugural installment of an ongoing series that will profile members of our team across the globe.
Since his initial day in 2010, during the official launch of our Laser Phosphor Display (LPD) technology at that year’s ISE, Tanvir has been an integral part of our company’s journey, contributing significantly to its growth and success.
Prior to joining Prysm, Tanvir held a pivotal role as the divisional head for a prominent system integration company in Dubai, where he oversaw large-scale projects encompassing audiovisual and other low current systems.
Meeting Roger Hajjar, Prysm's co-founder and chief technology officer, marked a significant turning point in Tanvir's career. Inspired by the opportunity to build something from scratch and scale it to new heights, Tanvir embraced the challenge wholeheartedly. Transitioning from corporate giants like Accenture and Pepsi to a startup environment was humbling and exhilarating for him.
“There have certainly been many challenges along the way, but far more rewards,” said Tanvir. “I thrive in an environment of innovation, collaboration, and mutual respect. Prysm has always delivered on those attributes, providing an environment where my opinion matters and in which I can best grow and excel.”
Initially tasked with kick-starting operations in India and the Middle East, Tanvir, along with a small but dedicated team, embarked on a journey to establish Prysm's presence in these regions. With his leadership and strategy, the company recorded remarkable progress, undertaking numerous projects, and laying a solid foundation for expansion.

One of Tanvir's proudest achievements at Prysm has been establishing the company as a well-known brand in the Middle East's large-format display market. Through his efforts, Prysm's name became synonymous with quality and reliability, earning the trust of prestigious clients, including confidential government entities and those within higher education, broadcasting, and enterprise corporations.
Two notable projects spearheaded by Tanvir stand out prominently. The first involved installing a groundbreaking video wall for a military installation, and the second project, executed during the height of the pandemic, entailed deploying multiple rooms for a training setup in Saudi Arabia, reaffirming Prysm's commitment to innovation, reliability, and flexibility even in adverse conditions.
Looking ahead, Tanvir envisions Prysm's future with a renewed focus on expanding into new geographic markets and reinforcing its core strengths in display technology.
