UCSF Medical Center

Donor Recognition

A Prysm video wall at the UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay is dedicated as an expression of gratitude to its donors who have contributed nearly $600 million to the building of the $1.5B medical center.

The 13ft wide by 4ft high interactive video wall is a fitting addition to the state-of-the-art facility. The video wall incorporates a broad range of content and user interactions to deliver a high level of engagement with visitors. A motion-tracking ‘attract mode’ captures the attention of visitors walking past the installation. Touch-screen capabilities accommodate multiple simultaneous users who are able to access information about donors, along with content about UCSF Medical Center’s hospitals, patients, faculty, staff, programs, and uniquely crafted interactive games that appeal to a broad audience.

Holly Houston, director of communications and donor wall project manager at UCSF Medical Center at Mission Bay, noted, “Prysm has helped create a full multimedia experience that truly pays tribute to the men and women who have made the new children’s, women’s and cancer hospital complex possible.” Read the full press release and more customer stories.
