"Smart" Learning Auditoriums
The Terry Fuller Petroleum Engineering Research Building at Texas Tech integrates formal teaching environments with hands-on practical applications using only the most cutting-edge technologies and their “smart” learning auditoriums feature Prysm video walls.
“Texas Tech wanted a ‘best-in-class’ research building that supported the university’s collaborative learning environment,” said Brian Richard, vice president and science and technology team leader at Kirksey Architecture. “Prysm helped make this a reality with digital displays tailored for visual collaboration. The large digital canvas and impressive capabilities of each video wall make this installation simply astounding.”
Another key benefit to Texas Tech is that Prysm video walls offer unmatched energy efficiency and run cool to the touch. As a result, the university did not need an upgrade to its heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems that other display technologies would require. Texas Tech realized immediate savings on its infrastructure investment and even greater savings long-term through reduced energy costs. Read the full press release and more customer stories.
